Starting at the age of 5, Melanie (She/Her) started her dance journey doing flamenco, a style she would learn to fall in love with as she grew older. As she turned 16, training under NXG Company for 5 years based out of Edmonton, she experienced many international competitions in the Hip Hop world as well as many master class workshops having learned from many of the largest names in the industry and being apart of one of the biggest Dance Companies in the world from Los Angeles.

Having now worked with artists such as Janet Jackson, Kiesza, and Terrell Safadi, as well as starred in tv shows and movies such as Zoeys Extraordinary Playlist, Christmas Chronicles II , Air Bud, and projects like Descendants and more, her force and work ethic are undeniable.

Bringing her Latin flavour and spice, raw energy and strength as a performer, she has been blessed with the opportunity to continue living her aspirations in the industry and is hoping to be able to continue to share her knowledge with the rest of the vancouver dance community
