Meta(physic) incorporates a format of self-determination and invites movers of all background and abilities to questions the fundamental nature of reality, explore principles of being, identity and change, necessity and possibility. The practice that will be shared has ground in performing Gaudet’s work. It is rigorous while facilitating each person's interests and exploring them through lenses of quality and value, from personal desires, body archives and moving tradition. Participants are encouraged to move in whatever way they find most interesting and beneficial. Participants will be invited to play with the nature of consciousness and the relationship between mind and matter, between potentiality and actuality through a series of guided explorations. Participants will then have the opportunity to experiment with elements of Catherine Gaudet's Les Jolies Choses creative process, using the tools explored through the workshop.
