Yae is a Korean Canadian dancer, performer, teacher and choreographer based in Vancouver BC. Her dance journey started at the age of 8 and eventually fell in love and found her passion for dance as she grew older and started to explore other genres. She started her training in tap and eventually expanded her style into becoming a competitive ballet, jazz, hiphop and contemporary dancer. After graduating, Yae decided to take her dancing outside of her small town and into the city, where she found Harbour Dance Centre. Since she came to Vancouver she's been dancing with different company's from all over the city, including Weekend Warriors, KTL, Culturally Defined, Overryde, Quill & Untitled. During her dance journey the Kpop and Korean culture became really big and made her embrace her culture more than ever. This led her to start teaching Kpop and other styles to people of all ages so that she could share her love and passion for dance and her culture. She cant wait to see you dance your little bootys off in her class!
