Jancee Custodio (He/They) is a dancer, choreographer, and an aspiring teacher who found his love for dance in high school. After competing locally during his final years in high school, his curiosity led him to teach himself the history and foundations of Hip Hop through Youtube and other forms of media.

Jancee continued his training by joining “Kill The Lights Co”., under the direction of Ken Yung and Shauna Smith, expanding his repertoire within the realms of Hip Hop, Street Jazz, and freestyle. He then furthered his knowledge - training with “Untitled” directed by Prince “Nii” Engmann.

Jancee has also been able to choreograph for recent opportunities with Richmond Tourism, Natalia Chai’s “Made For You” music video, and recently choreographed for Vancouver’s infamous hip-hop show, The Main Event.

Jancee’s dance style integrates elements of both Contemporary and Hip Hop. Naturally, he has a notable niche for story-telling, and aspires to inspire those around him. Jancee aims to create space and utilize the human experience when teaching and choreographing, all while aiming to have his students have fun and feel heard.
