Chloe McGuckin
Contemporary Jazz & Keep it Sexy
singer and aerialist born and raised in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. They started training at the age of 7 and quickly fell in love with the art form. Chloe grew up training in Tap, Ballet, Modern, Lyrical, Hip-Hop, Musical Theatre dance and singing, and Drama classes. Chloe at the age of 16 they attended Shelley’s Dance Company and added training in Contemporary Jazz under Shelley Tookey. At the age of 19, Chloe moved to Vancouver, British Columbia to deepen their adult training at Harbour Dance Centre in Moe Brody’s Intensive Training Program (ITP). From there Chloe trained in styles like Jazz Funk, Hip-Hop, Contemporary Jazz and Improvisation, and Heels.
Chloe has been performing in musicals like Annie, Peter Pan, CATS, and West Side Story since they were 7. Their film credits include ‘Castles’ by Fionn, Mitch Bax’s short film ‘Dance With A Demon’. They have performed on stages all over Vancouver like ‘Vancouver Spring Show’ which was broadcasted all over China, PRP’s ‘PNE Playland Parade’, and for various choreographers in ‘The Main Event’. Chloe’s most recent work was onboard Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines, Spectrum of the Seas, where they had the opportunity to tour Asia, and work with amazing teams consisting of Zachary Venegas, Vicki Davis, Joanna Numata, and Racky Plews. Chloe feels most achieved by the work they did as Dance Captain on their last cruise contract while touring around Asia.
Chloe’s heart lives in both styles of Contemporary Jazz, and Commercial Jazz. On their own time they love mixing the repertories to bring a new element to two differing styles. No matter whether in the room as a student or instructor, Chloe strives to bring a welcome and warm energy to any space and loves to inspire and be inspired by the creativity and fun around them.
