Alyssa Del Degan

Hip Hop

Alyssa Del Degan is an emerging dancer, performer, choreographer, and teacher from Calgary, Alberta. She grew up studying Ballet, Jazz, Hip Hop, Contemporary and Tap, and her dedication and love for the art form has only deepened over the years.

Beginning her professional training at ITP under the mentorship of Moe Brody, Alyssa was eager to refine her craft and seized every opportunity to train in various programs across Vancouver. Notable among these are her experiences with TwoFourSeven Company with Christopher Bonus and Helen Dang, Overryde, Ruff Ryderz, Heeals & Soules with Nadia White, and enriching workshops such as Wildstyle with Teya Wild.

Alyssa recently represented Team Canada Hip Hop in Poland where they placed 2nd in the world. She also secured a new spot in Smoke Show’s main cast under Jen Oleksiuk, and is a proud member of all female Hip Hop crew, Ruffnecks, guided by Roberta Bierman. Her creative flair shines as she ventures into choreography with the opportunity to set a piece with Quill Collective, directed by Carlo Atienza.

Alyssa remains active in the city’s dance community, performing in innovative showcases, such as Mainevent, appearing in gigs, short films, and commercials. Driven by a desire for knowledge and growth, Alyssa seeks to expand her repertoire by traveling, participating in masterclasses, and immersing herself in new experiences.
