This is a fun, high energy class inspired by the music videos of K-Pop (Korean Pop Music) superstars like Psy and 2NE1. In this 8 week progressive course dancers will learn an original (no dance covers) choreographed dance routine which will be filmed with costumes in a 'mini-music video'. Each dancer will receive a copy of the video upon completion of the course.

Students can expect to have choreography tailored to their ability level, so all levels are welcome. They will also receive coaching on how to perform for the camera.

The dance styles will be based in hip hop, sexy street jazz and burlesque, with a unique asian flair.

If you want to learn to dance, improve your fitness, and learn to dance for film and music videos, then this is the course for you!

Egyptian Belly Dance Intro

way.  As a former professional dancer, Leigh's performing credits  
include the movies Chicago and Bullets Over Broadway, the US and  
European tours of West Sides Story, TV shows, music videos and New  
York Cabaret.  Creator of the Cabaret Torlage shows and former owner  
of Maxine's Hideaway, Leigh's style has been described as "Pussycat  
Dolls meets Bob Fosse jazz numbers."  Leigh's classes are for all  
women of all ages and all levels.  There is something for everyone.

Jazz Technique Intro

Laura has an excellent class for beginners.  She will do a series

of dance exercises that incorporate the core, and stretch and strengthening

to warm you up for the cross the floor steps.  You will work on basic turns and jumps,

and work on a short choroegraphy that incorporates these movements.

Harbour Dance Centre Progressive Workshops: Are a commitment to a course.

There is a pre-registration deadline price before a certain date.

After the pre-registration date $10 may be charged up to 1 course.

After a workshop has started, there is no pro-rating of the fees.

If a student registers in more than 2 courses, 10% off each course is applied.

Workshop refund policy: If before the workshop starts, a student is unable to attend, HDC will either refund the amount minus a $25 processing fee or transfer the whole amount to the student's account at HDC.
After the first class there are no refunds unless there is a medical reason accompanied by a doctor's note. A refund would be subject to the $25 processing fee and classes attended. 

Make-up class: In some circumstances, 1 make-up class may be given per workshop session. Students must write "make-up" when signing in to the drop-in class. 1 make-up request must be made within 1 week from their absence from the class. Email: info@harbourdance.com
