Eva began teaching while in Europe, at summer school in Vignale, Italy. On returning to Canada she danced and taught company class for Judith Marcuse Repertory Dance Theatre. She also began teaching at The Dance Gallery, Terpsichore Studios, Goh Ballet Academy and Harbour Dance Centre in Vancouver. After taking a some years off to raise a family, Eva has been teaching at Harbour Dance Centre since 2006.
"Dance has brought a great deal of joy to my life, and I love to encourage students' natural joy of movement to flow through their ballet technique, fine-tuning that technique along the way."
There are no strict prerequisites, but I recommend that you have been dancing 2-3 ballet classes a week for several years before attempting Pointe work, preferably at Level 1 or higher. Not sure if you're ready yet? Please drop in and take the class in soft shoes!
