Paulo Santiago

Paulo Santiago has been dancing for only a short period of time and has trained in many different styles such as Popping, Locking, Bboying, and Krumping. As an Instructor/Choreographer he is mainly based at RIGHTFOOTSTUDIO. Some of his past and recent achievements include representing Canada 2 years in a row at World Hiphop International in Las Vegas, 2nd Place at World Of Dance LA with Emanon, was apart of a featured dance crew in the movie "You Got Served: Beat The World.” and is one of the dancers for Lilly Singh's World Tour. He currently travels back and forth from Los Angeles receiving more training and working in the entertainment industry as well.

Ken Yung

About Ken's teaching style: A fun, high-energy, progressive class for beginners that focuses on building the foundation of dance (such as grooving, body rhythm, co-ordination and isolation), as well as learning the latest dance moves and style in the form of original choreographed routines.

Richie Lubaton

As a multi- talented dancer and choreographer, Richie has been in the dance industry for several years. He discovered his passion for dancing at a later age than most but that didn’t stop him from pursuing various dance styles avidly, including: hip hop, popping, locking, breaking and house. As a part of Vancouvers “Faculty” dance crew (dir: Carlo Atienza) Richie was able to help them win several titles in dance competitions including (Artist Emerge, World of Dance Vancouver and Seattle) He is also a staff member of Vancouver's most prestigious drop in studio “Harbour Dance Centre” where he shares his love of dance with his students every week!

JP Tarlit

JP (John Paul) Tarlit is quickly rising to the top as a dancer & choreographer in the Vancouver dance scene. In his career, he has won numerous competitions with his team The Faculty, including World of Dance Vancouver and Artist Emerge in 2011,2012 and 2013, also placing 3rd at the 2013 Body Rody competition in San Diego. JP has taught internationally including in Croatia, Germany and Switerzland and currently teaches drop in classes at both Harbour Dance Centre and Studio604 in his hometown of Vancouver. Always eager to share his passion with the world, JP continues to share with others his love for dance.
 

Richard O'Sullivan

Richard is a multi-talented teacher, choreographer, dancer, actor, singer and model. Besides teaching at several schools throughout the Lower Mainland, he has also choreographed for and performed in many events such as shows for Molson Indy Fashion, Bootlegger, Show of Hearts Telethon, Jr. Black Achievement Awards, Dragon Boat Festival, Tommy Hilfiger and Polo. He also toured extensively with the Japanese singer Anri throughout Japan. His film and video work include Connection with MC Hammer, Rumble in the Bronx, Robins Hood, Jack Place, and videos for Harry Connick Jr., Sara a new German artist as well as a Hip Hop work-out video.

Kelvin Tu

Kelvin got his start in dancing in 2009. Since then he has danced with several companies (Paradox Dance Crew, Un1te, ARCKK) within his city of Winnipeg, Manitoba. In 2010 he co-founded one of the leading dance forces in his community, The Project Dance Company. Under his direction The Project Dance Company has travelled and competed internationally at the biggest competitions in North America. In 2015, The Project had competed at the Canadian Hip Hop National Championships where they placed 3rd and were offered an opportunity to compete at Hip Hop International San Diego. In San Diego The Project Company was able to push through to the semi-finals with Kelvin as the Creative Director. Kelvin has travelled out of his city to receive training and knowledge all over the world (Vancouver, Los Angeles, Hong Kong, San Francisco). He has taught classes across Canada in Toronto, Vancouver and Calgary. He is a regular teacher at the head quarters of Urban Dance Choreography in Winnipeg, Live Dance Studio.
Influenced by hip hop music and culture, this class introduces the foundations of hip hop movement and popular dance steps. Hip hop encompasses styles including locking, popping, house, grooving and more. Styles of hip hop taught in this class are similar to performances of dancers in you might see in music videos or on tour. (Please bring clean runners to class, no street shoes).
 
Level 2:(advanced) This is a high intermediate class for those who prefer a fast-paced and complex class.
